Graduates of the Social Work Program are prepared for successful employment in a number of settings such as public welfare agencies, mental health centers, health care settings, educational systems, correctional institutions and business and industry. An MSW degree in social work qualifies an individual to apply for licensing (LSW) in the State of Ohio. Following completion of two (2) years (3000 hours) of employment under the supervision of a licensed independent social worker, an MSW graduate may apply for the (LISW) license in the state of Ohio.
