When is it YSU Printing Services? When is it COMDOC?
Time to produce (deadlines) cost, and quantity are the primary determinants to selecting one of the two service providers.
Generally speaking, COMDOC offers copy service that often is “while you wait” up to 48 hours for more complex jobs. Printing Services schedules reproduction based on submission of files and deadlines for the affected departments.
At COMDOC per sheet pricing is the same regardless of quantity.
At Printing Services the price decreases as the quantity increases.
The break-even point is 384 copies (see below).

COMDOC offers black and color reproduction. Printing Services provides a range of options from one color reproduction through full color reproduction.
Tips and techniques : 500 copies or more of a general letter on YSU letterhead can be printed at the same cost as plain letterhead. Simply submit the letter with the letterhead requisition to Media and Academic Computing at the same time.
