The University letterhead, envelopes, and business cards will be laid out in Media and Academic Computing in accordance with the designs shown here. Requests for variations of these layouts must be approved by the Office of Marketing Communications.
Unique logos. A few campus entities with distinct identities will be permitted to include their own unique logos on their stationery and business cards. The offices are:
- Metro College
If other offices wish to make a case for incorporating a unique logo on their stationery, such a request must be submitted to the Office of Marketing Communications.
Letterhead may include a unique graphic—e.g., for an anniversary or an accreditation—in the lower lefthand corner of the department’s letterhead. The graphic may not be included on the business card.
Envelopes may include special logos and messages for a particular mailing, provided they have been approved by the US Postal Service for appropriate placement on the envelope. It is important to contact the YSU Mailroom supervisor at apascarella AT ysu DOT edu to have designs and placement approved by the USPS prior to printing to assure its successful passage through the US postal system.
Offices that wish to use electronic letterhead may make that request to Media and Academic Computing at mediadesign AT cc.ysu DOT edu.
