Environmental Option

Incoming freshman should have complete:

  • Math up to pre-calculus (Math placement of level 4 or higher)
  • High school chemistry
  • High school biology

If the student does not meet these entry requirements, they will need to take Introduction to Chemistry (CHEM 1501) and Math courses determined by math placement test. Other prerequisites may be required depending on selection of science electives.

 

 

For the Bachelor of Arts degree, the student majoring in Geology must complete a minimum 42 sh of required courses and a minimum of 6 sh in Environmental Electives for a total of 48 sh. A minor is not required.
